Last week, Birmingham Green celebrated National Nursing Assistants Week! We appreciate the hard work our team of dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) does year-round and wanted to acknowledge their efforts with a week-long celebration.
Starting on Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 17, we distributed sweet treats for our CNAs amidst their busy days working with our residents. Our Cupcake Social kicked off the celebration and was followed by our Candy Land Day. These were only the first of many tokens of appreciation they received throughout the week.
We spent Monday, June 20, giving our thanks to our CNAs all day. Our “Thank You” Day served as another reminder of our appreciation for the work they do to empower and enhance the lives of our residents who call Birmingham Green home.
On Tuesday, June 21, none of our CNAs went home feeling peckish. We served chicken dishes to bring some savoriness to our otherwise sweet surprises throughout the week.
We closed our celebration of National Nursing Assistants Week on Wednesday, June 22, with a big Birmingham Green celebration where gifts were given to each CNA. Our team of CNAs makes our campus a comfortable place for residents to enjoy life to the fullest while receiving person-centered care and compassion.
