To our Residents, Families, Team Members, and Community:
As part of our ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of our residents and team members, we are providing another COVID-19 update. We will continue to provide weekly COVID-19 updates in the following weeks as well.
As of this week, Birmingham Green has eight residents and six team members from our Health Center (Nursing Home) who have tested positive for COVID-19. We also have one team member from Assisted Living (District Home) who tested positive for COVID-19.
The affected residents are isolating in their rooms and the affected team members are currently isolating at home, pursuant to current policies and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. We are continuing to follow CDC and CMS recommendations and all team members will continue to wear the appropriate PPE and masks, as well as perform proper infection control measures and stringent cleaning protocols. We will continue to ask all residents and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to always wear masks and physically distance themselves during visitation.
