
Manassas, VA (June 24, 2026) – Birmingham Green, the leading long-term care community in Northern Virginia, announced the appointment of Martina Jackson Green as Chief Advancement Officer (CAO).
Jackson Green’s hiring signals a dynamic chapter for Birmingham Green, advancing our commitment to building meaningful community connections, inspiring charitable support, and creating a lasting impact for residents and families. A strategic nonprofit executive and communications leader, she brings more than 20 years of experience advancing mission-driven organizations through marketing, public relations, community engagement, and fundraising. Her work has consistently translated organizational vision into measurable results, with a focus on building collaborative partnerships that support underserved communities, strengthen workforce development, and create lasting community impact.
Jackson Green joins Birmingham Green from The Human Services Alliance of Greater Prince William, where she served as Executive Director from 2023 to 2026, leading a coalition of nonprofit and community partners to expand services for the region’s most vulnerable residents. Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of the Manassas City Public Schools Education Foundation, where she advanced fundraising and community partnerships in support of local students and educators. She also taught at Northern Virginia Community College for more than four years, building on earlier experience in client relations and business development at Alpha Corporation.
A sought-after speaker, Jackson Green has appeared on several podcasts and co-hosted The Other Prince William Podcast for the Prince William Chamber of Commerce, highlighting people and organizations making a positive difference in their communities. Academically, Martina holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) in Communication from Western Illinois University, along with an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America.

She will work across stakeholders to align revenue generation, brand strategy, and community relationships with Birmingham Green’s long-term goals and values.
